A baby girl gorilla has been born in Lincoln Park Zoo. And its the 49th gorilla born at Lincoln park zoo since 1970. The mother named Bana is a 16 year old , and is being a great mother to her first born baby. The father, a 22- year- old silverback gorilla seems to be proud as well.

opinion:

I think its beautiful and inspiring .This is because you don't get to see such animals having a baby in such places like the zoo. Its not everyday that you get to see or hear about a gorilla having a baby in the zoo in this generation.

The Chicago Tribune reports if you have an old city sticker on your windshield next to a new one, you might get a ticket. The 32 years old women got a $120 ticket for having an improperly displayed sticker on her car. Chicago Alderman Richard Mell sent an emailed to residents and reminding then to scrape off the old stickers.

I was extremely surprised when I read this new, and I was checking check my stickers at downstairs immediately. I removed my old stickers, and made sure the new one is located in the correct position, then I rest assured. We need make sure the view is clean when we are driving. Also, we cannot put too many city stickers on the windshield, because you cannot see the view when you are driving on the street or highway.

    I am so happy to know that there is a new ban will effect next month for text during the motorists do while behind the wheel.
    I knew that we could not call or text during driving, but now the ban include the bike too. I thing it is necessary that it could protect the driver and the walker. While we are texting, it needs at least 30 seconds. In  that 30 seconds, we pay all of our attention on the phone, we do not observe what happened around us, so, it is very easy to make an accident. I think everybody will welcome this ban.

It was said that filmmaker Michael Winter bottom was interested in making a movie about Amanda Knox.

Opinion: in 

I have given a lot of thought on this case and, I think that just because the British girl, Kercher was stabbed on their room doesn't necessarily mean she killed her. It could have been anybody who went in their house and killed her and left. And if you think Knox killed her, for instance how can someone kill someone and leave them

         I'm highly agree with Novick. In the 17th to 18th century, this land had been full of fugitivies. At that time in America, especially Chicago, land was cheap, and Alcohol was cheap. Mayor of Chicago Emanual announced on Tuesday will clean the CTA . This project is going to the team of city workers and private contractors to work together. Its clear all the station and work at once. This is good news. Usually I took the Metra. Metra is very clean, but Its very slowly. I remembered when I took CTA at first time, the smelling is bad and the train floor was wet. I am very confused, its also work from Chicago, but the train is opposite of service. But I think maintenance of public facilities should be consciously for everyone.

The First Day In The United State

    I love The United State. I have been living in Chicago for 13 years, but I still remember the first day that I arrived here. It was 8th, July 1998. As a new immigration, I needed to be interviewed by the immigration office. I was so afraid that the officer would  as interrogated me as a guilty, because most of the officer would do it in China at that time. My English was so poor that I didn't know how to handle my interview. When I faced to the officer, all of my worry had gone. The officer was very nice and patient to me. He talked to me with his action language for helping me to understand, and help me to take the file that it was needed. At the end, he welcame me to The U.S. heartfelt. I am so glad for living in The U.S.

I read the Redeye this morning, there is a news about CTA on page 9.

City announces plan for cleaning transit stations

Mayor announced a plan that he says will allow the city to clean and repair CTA train stations more efficiently. But its gonna cost $25million using money thats available because of cuts to the CTA bureaucracy.

My mama is a big fan of CTA, she is old fashion of course. She really likes the train of chicago, and she knows history about it, she always tells me that the train of chicago is really amazing... ( i was like, F*** yeah, ha, IT IS AMAZING. Slow, Old, Dirty, UNSAFE)

But if they really will clean it up, repair it, i may be going to like it like my mama does. :D And i hope its will be repaired and cleaned, becuase i have to take train to school everyday, i cant drive my car to downtown, the parking is very expensive. So if they really do that, i will thank them, myabe buy some cookies for them. :D

This article is about Mayor Emanuel announced a plan that the city to clean and repair Cta train stations more efficiently. City workers and private contractors will work tpgether from station to station to complete all the work ar once.Currently, different kinds of workers perform the station repair on different schedules. The wffort will cost about $25 million .
I think this is a great idea that we are goinf to see a better station more for better city under our Mayor. There are a lot of compain about the station for a long time. Such as "all the red line stations are nasty. Blue line ones are creepy. And pretty much all the station elevators smell like pee". We need to take this problem seriously. I am wondering we can have a new clean station after the renewal effort for CTA stations.

This article stated that 83% of Americans eat at there desk, which brings me to my next point that 45% of men rarely or never clean there work area and alongside women in which 30% are like the men who don't clean there work area or desk. Since that amount of percent of Americans don't clean there work areas, they have more sick days as desktops hide bacteria that can lead to food borne illness. It was said in this article that the average desktop has 100 times more bacteria than a kitchen table. Also 400 times more bacteria than the average seat. 

Opinion:

I think that when people read this article they should be in formed and scared enough to clean there desks or work areas. they should also make it a habit that they will keep this up instead of doing it once or twice  and forgetting about it.

Service restored on Green Line after man killed

The man got killed by the Green Line in the morning. The person was dead on the tracks just east of Cicero. The Police said that because the person jumped in front of the train, but the reason why he jumped would be a question. CTA spokeswoman said that the train power was shut off in both directions between pulaski and Laramie. Until service resumed shortly after 10 a.m.

When the Stuffy Pete wake up the next morning in the hospital ,he find the Old Gentleman,and he is very uncomfortable,Pete swear he will repay to the Old Gentleman, And then he leave the hospital. After a year ,When the thanksgiving day coming,the Old Gentleman still in the same restaurant,and wait Pete. When he seeing Pete, he dont belive his eye ,Pete is not fat ,and he looks like a rich Gentleman.Pete told Old Gentleman, after he leave the hospital ,he spent a lot of time to do work. he getting 3 parttime Job a day ,just beacuse he swear he will repay to the Old Genteman and he successful .The Old Gentleman is very excitement. Imagine that I’m Stuffy Pete. Situation : just wake up in the hospital.

Oh, my god. Why am I still here? I must get out of this hospital. What if old gentle man knows that I overate? Maybe he disdains me. He must be thinks that I’m very greedy person. Maybe he doesn’t treat me anymore. One thing I did great job is I make him happy, right? I deny that I overate. However, it’s true. Because two old women serve me food. It just like parade of Thanksgiving food. Um.. I love that ice-cream. It makes me slobber again. It is great pleasure but I shouldn’t have to eat. It ruins all our tradition. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone there to meet old gentle man. Just one year. Everybody do the mistake. I just pretend I forgot it and next year “Oh, I forgot to meet you.” Well, it doesn’t make sense anymore. He already knows! Doctor must be said something to him. I’m highly sure he said I ate too much food. Anyway, that doesn’t matter anymore. The most important thing is his feeling. I don’t want to see his disappoint face. He treats me 9 years. I hear many people are talking, I open my eyes with difficulty, ceiling is white. oh~ this isn't my home,I think. A nurse is coming, then I remember I was carried to an ambulance yesterday. The nurse is smiling to me:"Good morning! How are you doing?"

"Could you give me a glass of water, I am feeling my throat is dry"I said.

"Sure", the nurse is helping me to sit up and say:"I know, everyone is very happy on Thanksgiving. I am not an exception, but I want you to know, body is yourself, you need control,ok!"

"Yes, I will" I said."Oh~Excuse me , did you saw a Old Gentleman yesterday? He also ate a lot like me."

The nurse is surprised:"You were together yesterday? oh~my god! I need talk to he again. Ok, let me see, em~ he woke up earlier than you, I saw he is sitting in the Garden."

According to a new study about watching cartoons, some children’s TV shows have bad effect on kids’ brain. This test split two group : fast-paced cartoons, and slow-paced cartoons. Interestingly, fast-paced children did much worse than slow-paced group. However, Nickelodeon said fast-paced cartoon “Sponge-Bob” is designed for 6 to 11- year- olds, not targeted like testing group whose age is 4-year-olds.

This experience makes me very interested. Because when I was child, I also watched cartoons. Although most of them from Japan, they make me think or pondering. Last year, too many people are poverty in America. A survey, in 2009, 14.3 percent of people on America were living in property, but in 2010, 15.1 percent of people are rise. Now, 46.2 million people are considered in poverty, and 2.6 million than last year.In 2010, for middle-class families,income fell from $49,777 to $49,445.

This is a staggering number, because the United States aways fighting with other county a few years ago, as the capital consumption and casualties resulting decline in the U,S economy. Maybe the US has a few time will be resume. I hope the US can stop the war, give is a peaceful world.
